A Large Hydroelectric Power Station

Formerly known as La Grande-2, the Robert-Bourassa Facility has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors to this day. This power station, one of the eight that compose the La Grande complex, has a 53-storey building and a power station located 140 metres under the ground. It is the largest underground generating station in the world.

Your visit will start at the interpretation centre of the Robert-Bourassa power station. You will then board a bus and finish your tour at the Robert-Bourassa Facility. Along this route, you will have the opportunity to watch some videos about the building of the facility and the expertise of the hydro-Québec staff.
