As Far As the Eye can See

This area, which is one of three presented in this guide, has an impressive natural heritage, comprised of many broad-leaved trees. In fact, the South is home to an important forest operation. The large spaces of this area are perfect for many outdoor activities year round. Numerous hiking, cycling and snowmobiling paths await visitors.

Many also come to this area to go on a canoe-camping excursion, since it has so many lakes and rivers. From everywhere in the South, you will be able to enjoy a spectacular view. As for culture, visitors can admire some covered bridges located in this part of the James Bay area, as well as an impressive and diversified religious heritage buildings.
